Denying AIDS. Seth Kalichman in review by OMSJ

I meet Seth Kalichman’s "assistant" Lisa at a screening of “HOUSE OF NUMBERS”. I challenged her to tell me what if anything that was contained in the film was in her view made up, out of context, or unknown to her. Her reply basicly was that she didn't know about the Bangui definition. “Great” I said. Let's discard the rest of the film for just a moment and agree that the Bangui Definition is worth having a broader and new dialog. "NO"..why no if it's something she knew nothing about? I was talking to the bubble. She agreed to have this conversation if on the “HOUSE OF NUMBERS” website there could be a link to promoted Seth book “Denying Aids”. I agreed if Seth would promote the film “HOUSE OF NUMBERS” on Seth’s Denying AIDS website ". She said “i'll talk to Seth” and get back to you. 2 years later i'm still waiting for that call.

Book Review: Denying AIDS

In 2008, John P. Moore Ph.D. and Seth Kalichman Ph.D. joined an unknown blogger who posted this cynical obituary after the death of Christine Maggiore, who died from complications related to an adverse drug reaction.  Before her body cooled, Kalichman, Moore and a who’s who of pharmaceutically-funded activists parroted false claims that Maggiore’s death was adeserving end of a prominent “AIDS denialist.”  An Internet search will locate thousands of messages, news stories and reports that assert (among other things) that Maggiore and her baby would be alive today, “if only she taken life-saving AIDS medications.” To Kalichman, the actual cause of her death wasn’t important.

Clinton to Urge Using Latest Science in New AIDS Push

More Drugs sooner is always good Prevention? if condoms are prevention also where in this article is the break down of the cost of producing and disturbing them? OR just basic cost of education?

Modeling done by scientists shows that combining HIV prevention methods—including the use of condoms, male circumcision, medicines to prevent the transmission of HIV from mother to child, and putting more infected people on AIDS drugs—can lead to a sharp drop in the number of new HIV infections.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to call Tuesday for a new push by the U.S. and other countries to harness recent science to stem the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
Government researchers believe science has now developed sufficient tools to contain the pandemic, which erupted 30 years ago, has infected more than 60 million people and has been linked to the deaths of about 30 million. HIV infects about 2.6 million people a year.

In a speech to be delivered at the National Institutes of Health, Mrs. Clinton is expected to call for those tools to be widely implemented in countries where the pandemic continues to rage, and to ask donors to step up aid to intensify the response, according to people briefed on the speech.

'Superdrug' Could Fight Both HIV and Malaria

"They have completely changed the face of HIV treatment in recent years. People who take these drugs don't die of AIDS anymore."
YOU DON"T die from AIDS....AIDS is a definition

Natalie Wolchover, Life's Little Mysteries Staff Writer  03 May 2011

HIV, the pandemic virus that causes AIDS, kills 2 million people each year worldwide. Malaria, a pervasive parasite spread by mosquitoes, infects 225 million people and kills 781,000 annually. The former disease has ravaged our species since spreading to us from monkeys a mere 40 years ago; the latter has been our enemy for so long, our bodies have evolved ways to fight it.

The two killers, new and old, actually have a few molecular similarities. Because of this — and some brand-new research — a single "superdrug" could soon fight both. That drug is HIV protease inhibitor, a medicine that scientists designed specifically to treat HIV by preventing the deadly virus from constructing its proteins correctly. "HIV protease inhibitors are in clinical use now and are a leading HIV drug," said Photini Sinnis, head of the Medical Parasitology Laboratory at the NYU Langone Medical Center. "They have completely changed the face of HIV treatment in recent years. People who take these drugs don't die of AIDS anymore."

OMSJ Appeals USAF HIV Case

30 Apr-WICHITA – Three months after USAF officials convicted Technical Sergeant David Gutierrez to eight years at Fort Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary, OMSJ’s  HIV Innocence Group has filed motions for a new hearing.

OMSJ has uncovered disturbing evidence that implicates USAF Maj. James Dorman and Capt. Aaron Maness with the deliberate suppression of favorable evidence that Gutierrez was neither HIV-positive and that his treating physician, Donna Sweet MD, failed to diagnose Gutierrez  and voluntarily testified against him at his trial.  Although prosecutors made no attempt to prove that Gutierrez was infected with HIV, Dorman, Maness and the hearing officers never raised any question about his alleged infection (see affidavit).
Air Force officials have thirty days to respond to the charges.  NBC affiliate KSN is covering the story.
