I am learning more everyday was a newbie dissident. My (and others') interaction in this story's comments section has taught me a few things. My goal on commenting on this story was not to persuade existing mainstream believers about the non-existence of HIV. I was targeting those agnostic individuals, if you will.

In all of that, I gained valuable insight into why people believe the mainstream 

hypothesis even in lieu of not knowing WHY they believe it.

I am betting dollars to donuts that 8-9 people out of 10 have no idea why they believe in the HIV/AIDS myth. Ask them how they know HIV allegedly causes AIDS and they won't quote the original studies or for that matter any "scientific evidence" for the mainstream hypothesis/myth.

There were a few people in there that scared me with their "reasoning": they believe that mere consensus makes an idea a fact or that personal experiences makes something real. Their "logic" is not really logic.

In the future, I will have a more disciplined approach to answering the rebuttals before they are stated. I have determined that you have to counter these shoddy ways of thinking when presenting a rather radical thesis that HIV does not exists and therefore can not be the cause of AIDS.

Oakland - University of California researcher Peter Duesberg has been denounced as a denialist, a crank and worse because of his belief that HIV does not cause AIDS. But what if he is right?

In recent months a number of videos about AIDS have been uploaded to YouTube which support a paradigm that is totally at odds with the official line, namely that AIDS is transmitted sexually, and that the cause of AIDS is the HIV virus. In short, no HIV, no AIDS.

The alternative hypothesis has been around for a long time, and its most high powered proponent is Peter H. Duesberg, Professor of Molecular and Cell Biology in the University of California, Berkeley.

Three years ago, a full length documentary by Brent Leung that explores Duesberg's position in considerable depth was released. House of Numbers: Anatomy of an Epidemic was uploaded to YouTube about 18 months ago. This award winning film also has its own website.

The first thing to note is that Duesberg is not and never has been a lone voice. As another distinguished German scientist, Hans Eysenck, said many years ago, we know so little about any disease.

But these are only a small part of this good text. Also covered here are alternative treatments, unofficial research, and possible causes and cofactors. Coding the individual works by topic (i.e., alarmist, macrobiotic, ecological) would have been useful, but perhaps there would have been too much overlap. A controversial research paper that argued “there is as yet no proof that HIV causes AIDS" and met with a storm of protest when it was published in 2009, leading to its withdrawal, has been republished in a revised form, this time in the peer-reviewed literature.

The reworked version of the paper, led by Peter Duesberg of the University of California, Berkeley, who is well known for denying the link between HIV and AIDS, was published in the Italian Journal of Anatomy and Embryology (IJAE) last month¹.

ABSTRACT

Human Endogenous Retroviruses (HERVs) are confounding factors in HIV/AIDS research that cannot be ignored. Evidence suggests that “viral load” may actually be measuring retroviral nucleoside sequences associated with HERVs. HERVs also provide a valid explanation for the presence of retroviruses recognizable by electron microscopy (EM) in the original 1983 publication from the Institut Pasteur, and may account for claims of innumerable “mutations” of the putative HIV pathogen. The interference of HERVs in AIDS research brings into question the subject of study in so-called “AIDS Research,” and the very existence of an exogenous HIV pathogen itself.

"We followed up 175 HIV-discordant couples [one partner tests positive, one negative] over time, for a total of approximately 282 couple-years of follow up... No transmission [of HIV] occurred among the 25% of couples who did not use their condoms consistently, nor among the 47 couples who intermittently practiced unsafe sex during the entire duration of follow-up..."

"We observed no seroconversions after entry into the study [nobody became HIV positive]...This evidence argues for low infectivity in the absence of either needle sharing and/or other cofactors."

Dr. Nancy Padian on HIV and sex. As part of her 10-year study on HIV transmission, she enrolled 175 couples, one partner HIV-positive, one HIV-negative. These individuals had sex -- vaginal and anal -- with and without condoms over the study period. They were continuously tested. Drug abusers were kept out of the study, to emphasize the role of sex in transmission.
The results: At the end of the study, how many people who tested negative became positive, after repeated sexual intercourse with their HIV-positive partners?
Was it 50?
Was it 25?
Was it 20?
No.
The answer is -- Zero. Zero people who tested negative became positive. From the study:
"We observed no seroconversions after entry into the study [nobody became HIV positive]...This evidence argues for low infectivity in the absence of either needle sharing and/or other cofactors."
Nancy Padian:
"I think HIV is more difficult to transmit than other sexually-transmitted -- than a lot of, probably most other sexually-transmitted diseases. I mean, I think that's pretty widely known."
Is it "pretty widely known," Doctor Padian?
It is now.

Anthony Fauci reflects on 30 years of AIDS

Anthony S. Fauci, MD, is arguably the U.S. government’s best-known scientist. While he has testified to Congress on more than 200 occasions and interacted with every U.S. president since Ronald Reagan on a variety of issues, he is known most for his work on HIV/AIDS. He was appointed Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1984, and oversees an extensive research portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, influenza, tuberculosis, malaria and illness from potential agents of bioterrorism.

10% of Europeans immune to HIV

This nonsense about "10% of Europeans immune to HIV" is just the latest attempt to explain away why there has never been a white western heterosexual "epidemc" of "HIV disease." The other way to explain it is that there never has been an "HIV disease." That is, there is nothing pathogenic about one of thousands of strings of retroviral code written in nucleic acid and covered with a little protein. It is the biggest fraud in medical histroy. Of course, there has always been immune suppression, from multi-factorial causation, relating to unhealthful behaviors, ingestion of toxins and the psychogenic effects of being hated and oppressed minorities, both gay and black and drug users.

According to biologists at the University of Liverpool the plagues of the Middle Ages have made 10 percent of Europeans HIV resistant.

Scientists managed to back trace the mutation to 700 years ago, a time when plagues, including the bubonic plague, were sweeping across Europe. The places hardest hit by the plagues are the ones that now have the highest levels of resistance to HIV.

Professor Christopher Duncan and Dr Susan Scott from the University of Liverpool’s School of Biological Sciences used a computer model to show how selected diseases provided the evolutionary pressure necessary to force the frequency of the mutation up from 1in 20,000 to the values today of 1 in 10.

These resistant individuals carry a mutation known as CCR5-delta 32 that inhibits the CCR5 cellular receptor used to gain access to the immune system by HIV and other diseases. The mutation effectively presents immunity to HIV and other diseases that use the CCR5 cellular receptor as a gateway into the immune system.

Michael Savage exposes AIDS fraud on top radio show

One of the most listened-to and right-wing radio presenters in the US, Michael Savage, has hosted an astonishing segment by Robert Scott Bell exposing on national media in the US for quite possibly the first time, serious flaws in the HIV/AIDS paradigm. Michael Savage has described himself as being 'To the right of Rush [Limbaugh, another right-wing radio show host] and hit the headlines in June 2009 for being the first top US media personality to be banned from the UK, the first to be banned from any western nation according to his own webpage. He regularly gets between 8-10 million listeners a week and is in the top 3 or 4 most listened-to and widely-syndicated radio shows.

It is therefore all the more astonishing, as right-wing commentators are generally regarded as being more sympathetic to medical authority, that he allowed Robert Scott Bell to do the piece exposing corruption of science in AIDS research... He plays some of Luc Montagnier's comments revealing the impotance of oxidative stress as a key role in AIDS, as revealed here, and also reveals the lack of sexual transmission revealed by the Padian study.

This is worth listening to on it's own account, but especially, having been asked to preserve that segment as it is expected it may be withdrawn from official sources, you can listen to it here.

James (Jim) Chin has been at the forefront of public health epidemiology for decades. He works in public health surveillance and prevention of communicable diseases. He has studied the AIDS pandemic from the early 1980s in California – where he was responsible for surveillance and control of communicable diseases – to the late 1980s at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, where he was responsible for developing the methods and guidelines for global and regional HIV/AIDS surveillance. During his public health career, he has held leadership positions at state, national, and International organizations and received recognition for his work as an infectious disease epidemiologist. Since his resignation from the WHO Global Programme on AIDS in 1992, he has worked as an independent consultant for different international agencies to evaluate the patterns and prevalence of HIV in developing countries – primarily in Africa and Asia.

Dr. Chin’s book The AIDS Pandemic: The Collision of Epidemiology with Political Correctness (2006), takes a critical look at HIV/AIDS estimates and the international response to AIDS.

How about this fact it's cost 73 million dollars to study 1763 couples. That's 41,406.70 per couples. To give them Free Drugs. Just think about that? long distance calls? Shipping? Salaries?
