Share your story on a new Website: Living Without HIV Drugs

Living without HIV drugs

This website is dedicated to the true-life stories of people who have two important things in common:
  • 1. We have all been diagnosed as HIV-Positive at some point in our lives, and
  • 2. We have all stopped, or never started taking the HIV medications normally prescribed by our doctors and clinics and hospitals, and are living healthy, happy lives.
We want to share our stories with you, in hopes that they can be an inspiration and provide you with the hope that you, too, can live without HIV drugs and their very serious and damaging side effects.

New non-contagious AIDS-like disease found in Asia

Even as the promise of an AIDS vaccine seems finally within humanity's reach, researchers in the United States have discovered a new disease —as-yet unnamed, but fortunately non-contagious— with very AIDS-like symptoms.

AIDS —or acquired immune deficiency syndrome— results from the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which completely disables its host's natural defenses against infection. In the Philippines alone, as of June 2012, there were 295 reported HIV-positive cases, 16 of which were AIDS cases, according to the National Epidemiology Center's latest HIV Surveillance Report.

However, unlike HIV, the newly-discovered immunodeficiency disease does not spread through a virus, nor is it inherited, said Dr. Sarah Browne of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Everyone Reacts Positive on the ELISA Tests for HIV

by roberto giraldo

For the last 6 years I have been working at a laboratory of clinical immunology in one of the most prestigious University Hospitals in the City of New York. Here I have had the opportunity to personally run and get to know in detail the current tests used for the diagnosis of HIV status, namely, the ELISA, Western blot and Viral Load tests.

1. Diluting the serum for the ELISA testThe ELISA test is a test for antibodies against what is supposed to be the Human Immunodeficiency Virus or HIV. To run this test, an individual’s serum has to be diluted to a ratio of 1:400 with a special specimen diluent. According to the test kit manufacturer this diluent contains "0.1% triton X-100, Bovine and Goat Sera (minimum concentration of 5%) and Human T-Lymphocyte Lysate (minimum titer 1:7500). Preservative: 0.1% Sodium Azide" (1).

This extraordinarily high dilution of the person’s serum [400 times] took me by surprise. Most serologic tests that look for the presence of antibodies against germs uses neat serum [undiluted]. For example, the tests that look for antibodies to hepatitis A and B viruses, rubella virus, syphilis, hystoplasma and cryptococus, to mention a few of them, use straight serum [undiluted]. However, to try to prevent false positive reactions some serologic tests use diluted serum; for example this is the case with tests that look for antibodies to measles, varicella and mumps viruses which use a dilution of 1:16, to cytomegalovirus [CMV] 1:20 and to Epstein-Barr Virus [EBV] 1:10.

The obvious questions are: What makes HIV so unique that the test serum needs to be diluted 400 times? And what would happen if the individual’s serum is not diluted ?

2. Testing the ELISA test without diluting the serum

"The Other Side of AIDS" - an HIV and AIDS documentary Films

Take an unflinching look into an issue the mainstream media doesn’t dare touch: the failure of the multi billion-dollar war on AIDS. The Other Side of AIDS gives voice to a growing movement of doctors, scientists, journalists, and HIV positives who reveal a tangled web of conflicts of interest, political correctness and unresolved errors surrounding AIDS.
After 30 years and more than $150 billion in federally funded research, scientists still can’t explain how HIV causes AIDS. Millions of people have been declared HIV-positive with tests that can’t find the actual virus. The latest AIDS medications are taking more lives than AIDS itself. One expert proposes that the cause and cure for AIDS is as near at hand as our willingness to examine new ideas. Yet according to a prominent AIDS researcher, anyone questioning HIV is a perpetrator of death and should be jailed. Should AIDS advocates have the power to silence scientific debate? Has saving face become more important than saving lives? Watch The Other Side of AIDS and decide for yourself.

Drugs or NO Drugs? ARVs, HIV and AIDS and one man's decision

by: Jonathan Barnett
That’s my latest CD4 count, less than half the count from six weeks ago.
That’s it. I have tried as many alternative treatments as I can think of to reverse the decline. I will be starting my third round of pharmaceutical ARVs as soon as I can get a prescription and fill it.
This decision has been a long time coming, and in hindsight, I probably should have restarted a few months ago. There’s nothing magical about 97, or being below 100, but it’s as good a breaking point as any. I’ve long argued that there are two things to keep in mind about CD4 counts: one is the long-term trend; the other is single- or low double-digit counts.

No bounce left

For years, my CD4 count has bounced like a ping-pong ball, but that changed a few months ago. It’s been more of a straight line decline since last October, and a drop from nearly 500 in December 2010. Eight of the last nine tests have reported a decline. The CD4% (percentage), which is another way this marker is measured, has dropped from 20% last October to only 9% several days ago. I know some people who dismiss flow cytometry—the procedure used to measure t-cells like CD4—as unreliable, and I plan to debunk that notion in an upcoming post.
My counts have been decling much more
quickly for more than two years now.
Look folks, I’m not willing to wait for a serious infection to hit me before taking action. I have unquestionably performed above and beyond due diligence and have I tried many of the most promising alternative therapies. While those treatments may have been beneficial, and may have even slowed the decline, they haven’t managed to halt it, let alone reversed it.
To those who might be disappointed in my decision to restart ARVs: trust me, no one is more disappointed than I am. I might even be a bit discouraged… for about 5 minutes. Then I remind myself that when I first quit these drugs 13 years ago, I didn’t know how long I could go without them… Weeks? Months? I had 2 1/2 years free from them then. The second time I quit the drugs in 2003, I didn’t know how long I could go without them. I never imagined I would have more than nine years of freedom, and I don’t regret a day of it. In fact, I am very, very grateful.

Questions you need to ask yourself (or others) about HIV

-why thousands of people with full-blown aids tested HIV negative?
-why HIV cannot be cultured in people with detectable viral load?
-why aren't there any controlled studies showing how aids occurs in absence of other possible non-HIV causal factors?
-Where are the papers that prove HIV exists as an infectious virus ?
-Why do ABBOTT have a disclaimer saying at present , there is no standard for establishing the presence or absence of HIV in human blood ?
-Can you show HIV virus to me in my blood ?
-Why are HIV antibody tests not to be used to diagnose ?
-Why are PCR tests not to be used to diagnose ?
-Do HIV Antigen tests detect a virus ?
-If the above tests are not to be used to diagnose and cant diagnose because of an absence , and there are no clinical conditions , how can a doctor give you a clinical diagnosis ?
-It doesn't really matter if 'HIV' is sexually transmitted or infectious. I would be asking: Describe the mechanism by which HIV, directly or indirectly, kills cells, and please cite the references that prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, any cell-killing ability attributed to 'HIV

Taiwan University Hospital: Five Recipients of HIV-Positive Organs Test HIV-Negative

From U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

On Thursday, Taiwan University Hospital reported that five transplant patients who mistakenly received organs from a deceased HIV-positive donor continue to test HIV-negative. Medical staff started the organ recipients on HIV prophylaxis a day after discovering the transplant error, which occurred on Aug. 24. Two patients remain hospitalized, while three have been discharged, said Chang Shan-Chwen, TUH's vice superintendent.

Did You Know That HIV Tests Come Up Positive For HIV Test Components?

by Liam Scheff
Greetings Class;
Please take your seats. Michael, please stop bothering Cynthia. Susan, please stop showing your bottom to everyone.
Today, we’re going to review antibody testing for HIV, a reckless process used in the dark ages of medicine, in the late 20th and early 21st Century.
Let’s begin with handout A:
As you look for the term “cows, goats, babies”you will find a medical article on a ‘false positive’ in a baby humanoid. You will note that “heterophile” antibodies have caused this HIV test to be determined as “positive,” because of a reaction with cow and goat proteins:
“Heterophile antibodies are a well-recognized cause of erroneous results in immunoassays. We describe here a 22-month-old child with heterophile antibodies reactive with bovine [Cow] serum albumin and caprine [Goat] proteins causing false-positive results to human immunodeficiency virus type 1 and other infectious serology testing.”

Dear Richard: HIV - When to Ask, When to Tell

Dear Richard,
I'm HIV positive.  I've been dating this guy for about two months. He's 25, I'm 28, and I assume he’s HIV negative.
He's amazing. He's so full of life, so exciting to be around, and totally not jaded like a lot of other guys in New York. We met through mutual friends, would hang out with everyone in the group, but then started seeing each other. It soon became clear we were dating.
Then last night we hooked up for the first time. It was so spontaneous and so right, but as it was happening I just didn't have the heart to say anything. I was scared—to ruin what was growing between us, or to have that group of friends possibly find out about me. It was just nice to be dating someone and not think about it for a while.
Now I’m worried I’ve messed everything up. I feel like I should have said something sooner, but because I didn’t I worry he’s going to hate me for it, or feel betrayed or something. What do I do?

HIV Tests for Earthquake Survivors

“Christchurch gay and bisexual men have been offered free sexual health tests to prevent men having unsafe “post disaster sex” which could lead to a rise in HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.”

"Post Disaster Sex"? "Looks like somebody is fishing for a grant for "PDS" research?--to coin an acronym. Tony Fauci should be good for a couple of million, along with the Gates Foundation and our friends at Gilead Sciences--always looking to sign up new "positives" for their $10,000 or $15,000/year drugs-for-life.

All I can say is :)LOLOL:)LOLOL:) On the other hand, many of us have had disastrous sex, after which we wish we hadn't. Could that be what they mean?"

25 Years in the Shadow of HIV

“Brian” (not his real name) was diagnosed HIV-positive in 1987 along with many other hemophiliacs. Unlike most of the others, however, Brian did not start on AZT. Unlike almost all who did, he is still alive and well today…25 Years HIV+ without ARVs [ 57 min 30 s | 26.33 MB ]

Brian was so young at the time that his mother was making his medical decisions and her observation that the people taking AZT “looked like they were dying” saved his life. He quickly educated himself, and his resolve to stay away from the evolving AIDS pharmacopeia only strengthened with time. Brian is a unique witness to the genocide of hemophiliacs in the 1980s and 1990s and, in this interview with Terry and David, he discusses how drug companies, governments and hemophilia societies all “participated enthusiastically” in treating hemophiliacs with AZT and similar drugs, despite the tragic results.
For a scientific graph that shows how the deaths of hemophiliacs correlated with the advent of AZT, see this graph from the medical journal Lancet:

Understanding HIV Testing, for Beginners

May 10, 2011 by Liam Scheff
RTB: HIV Tests have no standards, and come up positive for nearly every disease known to humankind, if you bother to read the medical literature on the subject. But this information is never offered to patients, or to the general public by the media.

The implications of these facts are profound – millions and millions of people have been robbed of their lives, their freedom, health and medical choice by these absolutely fraudulent tests.
But all of this typically fails to convey the reality of receiving an unethical, but enforced “HIV diagnosis.” So, let us present our little play, here on RTB theater:

David Rasnick is a PhD biochemist and a long time critic of the HIV=AIDS dogma

David Rasnick is a PhD biochemist and a long time critic of the HIV=AIDS dogma. He is a member of the board of Rethinking AIDS and was responsible for initiating its revitalization in 2005/6. He graduated from Georgia Tech with his PhD in 1978 based on research into proteases and his career was based on working with these enzymes. This gives him a unique insight into the drugs known as protease inhibitors introduced in the mid-1990s and a part of most HAART (Highly Active Antiretrovial Therapy) 'cocktails'.

Dr. Rasnick talks with Terry Michael and David Crowe for about an hour in an interview that ranges from science to politics to history to sociology and back again. For more information see David's personal website.

Anthony Fauci reflects on 30 years of AIDS

Anthony S. Fauci, MD, is arguably the U.S. government’s best-known scientist. While he has testified to Congress on more than 200 occasions and interacted with every U.S. president since Ronald Reagan on a variety of issues, he is known most for his work on HIV/AIDS. He was appointed Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 1984, and oversees an extensive research portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, influenza, tuberculosis, malaria and illness from potential agents of bioterrorism.
Diagnosing HIV without using an HIV Test

John Donnelly interviewed Dr. Fauci for Science Speaks’ series on the 30thanniversary since the discovery of a virus that would turn out to be HIV, and he talked about everything from how he first learned of the disease, to his surprise in President George W. Bush’s commitment, to the unmet needs today to fight the pandemic.

Missouri backs off use of HIV client acknowledgment form

Michigan Messenger investigation prompts change

By Todd A. Heywood | 05.23.11
After a Michigan Messenger investigation, Missouri is no longer requiring HIV-positive individuals to sign a document acknowledging the state’s reckless exposure law in order for those persons to qualify for federally funded medical programs.

POZIAM.com, says the HIV is 100% accurate. Really?

David Crowe and Terry Michaels discuss groundbreaking HIV and AIDS news

In this episode, David and Terry discuss groundbreaking HIV/AIDS news, with a focus on how more and more people are rethinking AIDS – and are being recognized, worldwide, for doing so. For example, Dr. Nancy Turner Banks, a recent guest on Episode 26 of our show, received a gold medal on May 11, 2011 from the Independent Publisher Book Awards.
The award described her latest publication, “AIDS, Opium, Diamonds and Empire,” as “the most progressive health book.”
We also discuss several new “Rethinking AIDS” video documentaries released worldwide.
We finish the podcast by remembering Karri Stokely, a caring and compassionate woman, who had taken AIDS drugs for over 10 years before discovering our work.  We are saddened to lose Karri, yet we are equally empowered to continue our journey rethinking AIDS because of her.

Breakthrough in AIDS fight: Drugs radically reduce transmission of virus

A new study shows a 96% reduction in transmission of the AIDS virus to spouses and partners when HIV-positive people take anti-AIDS drugs. The drugs were unexpectedly effective.

More Media Rhetoric / choice of wording.
READ the text.
There is NO Break though.
The 11 Drugs do not reduce Transmission.
READ People.
Deal in FACTS:
-read the LA Times article and then New York Times (below) the choice of words:
"...can reduce the transmission of the virus to spouses and partners by 96%"
-everything is based on CD4 level.
-Try to think of this the other way around.
What if these people in the test would have never gotten the HIV virus in the 1st place. Was that taking into consideration? NOPE.

-Why are more people NOT taking about Dr. Nancy Padian 10 years study?
The Study “We followed up 175 HIV-discordant couples [one partner tests positive, one negative] over time, for a total of approximately 282 couple-years of follow up… No transmission [of HIV] occurred among the 25% of couples who did not use their condoms consistently, nor among the 47 couples who intermittently practiced unsafe sex during the entire duration of follow-up…”
“We observed no seroconversions after entry into the study [nobody became HIV positive]…This evidence argues for low infectivity in the absence of either needle sharing and/or other cofactors.”
How about this fact it's cost 73 million dollars to study 1763 couples. That's 41,406.70 per couples. To give them Free Drugs. Just think about that? long distance calls? Shipping? Salaries?
Stop accepting "FACTS" for a drug pusher like Dr. Anthony Fauci

May 12, 2011

In what is being hailed as a landmark breakthrough in HIV prevention, a new study has shown that giving anti-AIDS drugs to HIV-positive people can reduce the transmission of the virus to spouses and partners by 96%, U.S. researchers said Thursday.
