Whistleblowers Claim $100 Million fraudulent conduct made by AIDS Healthcare Foundation

How will Michael Weinstein spin this?

Three former managers at AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Inc. (AHF) have come forward alleging the organization has been defrauding federal healthcare programs for the past five years, raking in as much as $100 million in the process.

AHS is a global nonprofit based in Los Angeles and the largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the U.S., with over 350,000 patients. At least, according to its website. That number, it has now been alleged, may be greatly inflated.

In a lawsuit filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on April 3, whistleblowers Jack Carrel, Mauricio Ferrer, and Shawn Loftis, all of whom held management positions with AHF before being fired from their jobs after questioning the organization’s referral practices, claim AHF boosted funding from federal healthcare programs, including Medicare, Medicaid and Health and Human Services HIV/AIDS grant programs, by offering illegal kickbacks of $100 to employees who created false HIV/AIDS referrals, and $50 to patients who patronized its clinics and pharmacies.

Tony Robbins and Deepak Chopra Talk about AIDS and HIV

Here’s a bit of the interchange:

Chopra discusses what he calls “so-called AIDS”

Tony Robbins says he read that 9 in 10 times a positive test result is false for heterosexuals, and 9 in 10 times a negative result is false for homosexuals

Both Chopra and Robbins talk aboutAZT, Chopra suggests that it was promulgated by drug companies because they were interested in money

Deepak Chopra and Tony Robbins speak out against the HIV Hoax. They even have a few words on Peter Deusberg

Chopra: HIV may be a precipitating agent in a susceptible host.   The material agent is never the cause of the disease.  It may be the final factor in inducing the full-blown syndrome in somebody who’s already susceptible.

HIV Meds Can Benefit Positive Gay Meth and Cocaine Users

So you can continue to enjoy a vein full of crystal meth and a nose full of cocaine--and still benefit from Truvada and all the other lifesavingtreatments.

A green light for Friends of Tina?

You be the  judge

HIV-positive men who have sex with men (MSM) and who use stimulants such as methamphetamine or cocaine can benefit significantly from antiretroviral (ARV) treatment. Publishing their findings in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, researchers at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) conducted a study of 1,313 HIV-positive MSM who started ARVs while participating in the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study. The data on the participants was collected between 1996 and 2012.

A total of 341 of the men reported using stimulants. The researchers found no significant correlation between any level of stimulant use and risk of death from any cause. Nor did an analysis that separately examined AIDS-related deaths and non-AIDS-related deaths indicate any correlation to stimulant use.

Profiteering with PrEP (PreExposure Prophylaxis). Gilead pharmaceutical company's toxic Truvada for so-called HIV

by Terry Michael, September 30, 2014

I trace how a supplemental use for Gilead's HIV chemotherapy went from confirmation-biased clinical trials, funded by Dr. Anthony Fauci, NIH/NIAID director; to approval by the FDA, in a corrupt "user fee" (funded by Gilead) fast-tracked process, just in time for Fauci to announce it at the International AIDS Society "XIX AIDS Conference" in Washington, DC, in July 2012; to the CDC's  compliant  endorsement in May 2014; and now is being touted by a science-uninformed mass media and gay press, heavily promoted by the Gilead public relations machine.

America’s AIDS czar for almost 30 years, Dr. Anthony Fauci has promoted and shepherded human experimental research that has exposed HIV negative Third World men and women to toxic chemotherapy, many already health-challenged from lack of clean water, poor sanitation, malnutrition and old diseases like tuberculosis and malaria. The experiments were to demonstrate “Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis” (PrEP) for the anti-viral drug Truvada. Like other nucleoside analogs, Truvada has well-assessed adverse (“side”) effects. Funded with tax dollars and non-profit grants, including tens of millions from Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as from the CDC and USAID, studies have accrued to the sole benefit of a politically well- connected U.S. drug corporation, Gilead, the only company to “donate” pills for the clinical trials

When PrEP was discussed initially in mainstream media, including in a New York Times articlepublished January 22, 2006 (later critically reviewed by independent journalist Liam Scheff), human guinea pigs, almost all impoverished Third World subjects, were already in early phase trials, designed to produce results that would allow Gilead eventually to seek FDA approval for re- purposing its “Viread” but later only its “Truvada” chemotherapy for use by HIV antibody negative Americans, for theoretical protection from a virus proclaimed by the U.S. government in 1984 as a discrete pathogen responsible for the amorphous health condition described since 1982 as “acquired immune deficiency syndrome,” or “AIDS.” Under patent protection until 2021, Truvada remains more profitable for Gilead than Viread, for which a generic can be sold as early as December 2016.

Black market for "lifesaving HIV treatments"

The Washington Post

Watchdog: Some Medicare spending on HIV drugs appear questionable in 2012 audit
By Charles Ornstein

"Medicare spent more than $30 million in 2012 on questionable HIV medication costs, the inspector general of the Department of Health and Human Services said in a report set for release Wednesday.

The report offers a litany of possible fraud schemes, all paid for by Medicare’s prescription drug program known as Part D."

Medicare paid over $30 million in fraud schemes to thieves re-sell the "lifesaving treatments."

The only thing missed is that every penny Medicare, Medicaid, ADAP, the VA, etc pays for "ARVs" is a gigantic fraud for worthless, dangeorus toxic chemotherapy.--Terry Michael

In Detroit, a 77-year-old woman purportedly filled $33,500 worth of prescriptions for 10 different HIV medications. But there’s no record that she had HIV or that she had visited the doctors who wrote the scripts.

A 48-year-old in Miami went to 28 pharmacies to pick up HIV drugs worth nearly $200,000, almost 10 times what average patients get in a year. The prescriptions were supposedly written by 16 health providers.

And on a single day, a third patient received $17,500 worth of HIV drugs and none the rest of the year. She acquired more than twice the recommended dose of five HIV drug ingredients.

WHO IWorld Health Organization) now wants ALL gay men to take antiretroviral drugs for the rest of their life

"Among men who have sex with men, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is recommended as an additional HIV prevention choice within a comprehensive HIV prevention package. NEW RECOMMENDATION"

In this new consolidated guidelines document on HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care for key populations, the World Health Organization brings together all existing guidance relevant to five key populations – men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, people in prisons and other closed settings, sex workers and transgender people – and updates selected guidance and recommendations.

These guidelines aim to:
  • provide a comprehensive package of evidence-based HIV-related recommendations for all key populations;
  • increase awareness of the needs of and issues important to key populations;
  • improve access, coverage and uptake of effective and acceptable services; and
  • catalyze greater national and global commitment to adequate funding and services

A film by Andi Reiss and Joan Shenton

Positive Hell is the story of five individuals who have defied their doctors and lived on for nearly thirty years with a diagnosis of death. The film highlights a network of people diagnosed HIV Positive in the province of Galicia in Northern Spain.

Some of them, like physician Dr Manuel Garrido, have never taken any antiviral drugs. He’s been swimming against the tide of medical orthodoxy for three decades.
Raquel has had two children who are fit and well and are HIV negative and her husband, Pablo is also HIV negative.
Others like Manoel took antivirals for a while and found they made him feel so ill he stopped taking them. How can this be? Haven’t we been told that everybody who tests positive is sure to die? Dothese people have a special magic gene that protects them against HIV? Or could it be that this death sentence has been mistaken all along?
The five protagonists describe their struggle to survive when faced with a death sentence, their experiences as social pariahs, their battles with doctors and the medical orthodoxy and their absolute conviction that the science behind AIDS is cruelly wrong.

A New York Times opinion section "debate" about Truvada and so-called "Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis" or "PrEP."

In one of their "Room for Debate" features, The Opinion Pages of The New York Times

June 17 chose five mostly HIV-AIDS Industry likely suspects to "debate" use of Gilead's toxic chemotherapy Truvada for so-called "PrEP."
Is a Pill Enough to Fight H.I.V.?
It wasn't much of a "debate," more akin to: "French fries: possibly fattening, pretty much OK, or really f'king great?"  The missing position:"You're poisoning yourself, stupid!"

What Does The Normal Heart Mean in 2014?

By  and

Really thought out article

J. Bryan Lowder: Well hello, June. I must say, after watching Ryan Murphy's take on Larry Kramer's loud and moving and blunt and unrelenting old play, I am acutely aware of our relationship as gay man and lesbian woman—your people are, after all, the ones who were so crucial in helping mine get our shit together during the AIDS crisis, so thanks for that. And I am also thinking a lot about generations: You lived through the events depicted here; I was born in 1987, two years after The Normal Heart first ran off-Broadway. AIDS has certainly been a presence in my life as a gay man, but it is not defining for me in the way I know it is for older queers. There are a lot of things to talk about with an object like this film—it's a work of art, a historical document, a piece of propaganda, and one fairly narcissistic man's memoir all at once. I find it very difficult to appraise without reams of caveats and sidebars. Perhaps a place to start: Did you think this movie worked as a movie?

"So the copyright system on YouTube still has a few kinks to be worked out …

Myles Power, a scientist working in the vein of making YouTube videos, is in danger of losing his account over copyright infringement.” Powers used footage from a controversial documentary “House of Numbers,” a film that allegedly makes assertions that the AIDS crisis is manufactured by big pharma to sell worthless medication. And now someone from that documentary is “gaming the system” to punish Power."

Another one side article at:

A  bit about Myles Power:

Hello and welcome to For those of you who are just tuning in, my name is Myles Power (aka powerm1985) from YouTube. My time here on the internet has been spent sharing my love of SCIENCE! through home experiments, visiting sites of scientific interest and angry rants at pseudoscience opponents.

I am originally from a small town in the North East of England called Middlesbrough. I studied chemistry specialising in organic chemistry at the University of Manchester and Toronto. I later moved more towards bio-chemistry and began synthesising various nucleic acid analogues for non-enzymatic transcription and the controlling of gene expression using a mutant riboswitch.  I have over 6 years of experience working in a research lab and am currently working in industry.

Glaxo Says It Will Stop Paying Doctors to Promote Drugs

The British drug maker GlaxoSmithKline will no longer pay doctors to promote its products and will stop tying compensation of sales representatives to the number of prescriptions doctors write, its chief executive said Monday, effectively ending two common industry practices that critics have long assailed as troublesome conflicts of interest

The announcement appears to be a first for a major drug company — although others may be considering similar moves — and it comes at a particularly sensitive time for Glaxo. It is the subject of a bribery investigation in China, where authorities contend the company funneled illegal payments to doctors and government officials in an effort to lift drug sales.

God intervened in HIV cure of baby, Hannah Gay believes. Pediatrician Hannah Gay says "And it was God that cured the baby and I just happened to be standing close by at the time."

JACKSON, Miss. (BP) -- The continued good health of a Mississippi baby born with HIV causes Hannah
Gay, the HIV specialist who treats the child, to speak of divine intervention.

The baby remains in remission more than 18 months after her last anti-viral treatment. "Hopefully we'll be able to find out what it was about this case that was different from all the others that we've ever seen and be able to replicate that for other babies in the future."

The 3-year-old's continued lack of any replication of the virus indicates the first documented case of HIV remission in a child, The New England Journal of Medicine reported Oct. 23, fostering renewed hope that the child is permanently cured.

"The big question, of course is, 'Is this child cured of HIV infection?'" the Journal article stated. "The best answer at this moment is a definitive 'maybe.'"

HIV Cure Has Long Way to Go Before the Clinic

KUALA LUMPUR -- The science of an HIV cure is in its infancy but scattered cases of remission -- so-called
"functional" cures -- give hope that it is possible, experts said here.
But if the tempo of development is similar to that of anti-HIV drugs in the late 1980s and early 1990s, a useful strategy is still some years away, according to Steven Deeks, MD, of the University of California San Francisco.
"I think we're in 1987," Deeks told MedPage Today -- a period when no drugs were yet available and researchers were just learning such basic things as how to measure HIV in blood and what viral targets for drugs existed.

Prosecuting HIV: take the Test- and Risk Arrest?

Imagine meeting someone online, having a nice chat, and then deciding to hook up. You have HIV, but you’re adherent to your meds and have had an undetectable viral load for years. You and your sexual partner use a condom. Sometime later, the partner learns you have HIV and presses charges against you for failing to disclose your HIV status prior to sex.
Your life is suddenly turned upside down, with your name and picture splashed across the media. You are called an “AIDS Monster.” You and your family and friends feel humiliated and embarrassed. Your employment, housing, and relationships may be put in jeopardy and you need to find tens of thousands of dollars for legal fees for the impending prosecution.
If convicted, you face decades in prison, lifetime registration as a sex offender, and other restrictions; if acquitted, your life is still never the same, because you will always be known as the “AIDS Monster.”

Think about that for a moment: Consenting adults. No intent to harm. Undetectable viral load. A condom was used. No HIV transmission. Twenty-five years in prison. This isn’t hypothetical; it is exactly what happened in a recent case in Iowa. In fact, as of July 2009 Iowa had convicted nearly 1% of all Iowans with HIV under their HIV-specific criminal statute.
There have been hundreds of prosecutions for HIV crimes in the U.S., all over the country. As of today, 36 states and territories have HIV-specific statutes, but a targeted law isn’t required to prosecute an HIV crime. These prosecutions usually have little bearing on the actual level of risk of HIV transmission, ignoring factors like whether a condom was used or the viral load of the person with HIV. more below

Elizabeth Ely reply:

Only reason Strub focusing on Iowa is Nick Rhoades' residency there. Rhoades is the only defendant assisted by the AIDS activist organizations -- and they're botching the job by avoiding the scientific questions. He's probably going to prison. Meanwhile, also in Iowa, Tom Call ( escaped this kangaroo court with the help of a California private investigation agency, OMSJ. See its HIV Innocence Group
Forget about "undetectable viral load" as an excuse for having sex. It's a load of hooey, and you don't need a medical license to have sex. As has been acknowledged in numerous court cases, there's no evidence that the person is even infected with a deadly virus; all they need is an expert witness to testify to that effect, not repeal of the law.
