AIDS Healthcare Foundation | AHF to Stage “Day of the Dead” Funeral Procession to Protest Gilead’s AIDS Drug Prices

George C. O'Connor This is just the right place to include the admonition, "Be careful what you wish for you just might get it." Thus continues the tragedy that the "AIDS advocates" would have been solidly impervious to any such warning.

This morning, AIDS advocates staged a “Day of the Dead” funeral procession & protest near Gilead's headquarters to ask the pharmaceutical giant to "Do the Right Thing" & lower its prices of its lifesaving AIDS drugs. They spoke on behalf of those who have died while waiting for AIDS drugs & the 6,500+ low income, uninsured or underinsured Americans currently on waiting lists to receive the medications they need.
